This interactive, evidence based class is intended for pregnant people and their families as they prepare for their journey to parenthood. We will cover topics such as the phases and stages of labor, common labor interventions, comfort measures, communication skills, breastfeeding, postpartum time and more. Connect with other pregnant people in a casual learning environment, have your questions answered and gain the knowledges and skills needed to be confident in labor, delivery and postpartum!
Jordan Dixon is a DONA trained Birth Doula, and CAPPA trained post-partum doula and childbirth educator. She is a mom of one (with another on the way!) and takes an avid interest in all things birth. Each pregnancy is different, and each pregnant person has their own values, goals and wishes for their birth. My goal is to assist people in understanding the labor and delivery options so they may make the best, empowered decisions for their labor, birth and postpartum time.
